3Si is led by two Directors with over 70 years of security-related experience and expertise in both the policing and private consulting environments. Backed by a core team of consultants and Associates, 3Si is able to address a broad range of client issues and challenges in the security and public safety areas.
Our Directors
Kenneth D. Gisborne, MA, CISSP, CPP
President
Ken is a licensed security consultant and private investigator. He is a veteran Staff Sergeant of the Technical Security Directorate of the RCMP possessing over 30 years of security, public safety and training related expertise. Academic credentials include a Master of Arts degree in Disaster and Emergency Management. Ken has provided ongoing security management and public safety related services to numerous corporate and government clients in Canada, the United States and Hong Kong. Ken is the lead consultant for 3Si in corporate matters and in security program and systems development.
Garry B. Vikanes, ASP, CPP
Chairman
Garry is a licensed security consultant. He is also a veteran Staff Sergeant of the Technical Security Directorate of the RCMP with over 35 years of security related expertise. Possessing extensive expertise in security consulting, Garry has provided numerous contracted security management services throughout Canada, the United States and internationally relating to Threat Risk Assessments and Master Security Planning.
Ken Wright, BSc
Director, Information Security & Finance
Following 8 successful years of service with the RCMP, information security has been the focal point of Ken’s career for the past 28 years. His expertise includes managing corporate information security programs and providing consulting services to an extensive list of major corporations in BC. In addition to his extensive knowledge and experience in this field, Ken’s strengths are his integrity, his ability to efficiently analyse problems and his effectiveness in communicating solutions that work.

Patrick N. Holliday, CD, MA
Senior Consultant, Organization Development Solutions
Patrick Holliday is an Organization Development (OD) specialist. He is a former municipal police officer with over 30 years of service in both operational and administrative areas. Academic credentials include Certificate in Human Resource Management, Bachelor’s degree in Management and Master’s degree in Leadership and Training with a specialty in Justice and Public Safety Leadership. He is associate faculty with several post-secondary institutions instructing in leadership and management courses. For over 10 years Pat has assisted numerous private sector and government clients on a consulting basis in enhancing organizational performance and individual development through the application of system-wide and behavioural-based strategies and processes. He has co-authored two books on the topic of leadership.
